Founded in 2014, nolla_E helps construction and real estate operators improve their energy efficiency in a financially sensible way. nolla_E had previously used Koho's ERP software, but they were dissatisfied because it was difficult to use. In practice, the staff did not use the software at all. When selecting a new software, nolla_E wanted a solution that was:

  • Versatile project management: The software had to be customizable for various processes and projects.

Heeros PSA was chosen after a thorough comparison. After the initial screening, Soinila carefully tested four different software: "I requested trial versions and tested various software. Then I created a traditional and detailed Excel spreadsheet to weigh the pros and cons."

Heeros PSA stood out positively, particularly due to its scalability that meets nolla_E's growth needs. Heeros PSA also offered diverse project management features that are suitable for nolla_E's unique projects and allowed for precise tracking of profitability.

Secrets to successful implementation

The implementation of Heeros PSA at nolla_E proceeded in stages, starting with time tracking and projects.

We began exploring the software with our staff in mind. First came time tracking and projects. Only later did we incorporate features such as project phases and subprojects. More functions have gradually been added, and next up are project templates for standard projects and resourcing for more complex projects.

The step-by-step approach ensured that large amounts of new information did not feel overwhelming. The incentive for the team was the ability to enter expense and travel claims into the software. Now, the company is approaching 100 percent accuracy in ensuring that everything is meticulously recorded. All employees have integrated the use of the software into their daily routines.

Soinila has been very satisfied with Heeros's customer support responsiveness and helpfulness, particularly regarding the short response times and the company's proactive approach to product development suggestions. She gives particular praise to the rapid development of the reporting functionalities. 

In the future, nolla_E plans to leverage Heeros PSA even more strongly to support its international growth. Soinila hopes that the software will provide a management dashboard in the future, allowing for easy monitoring of the company's situation both domestically and internationally. "It would be good to have some kind of management view... so that when the CEO opens it, they would immediately know where we stand," Soinila suggests.
